Buy our precious qiviut socks or make your own! Nunavut Qiviut has spun yarn in a format perfect for sock knitters. It is the same blend as the Nunavut Qiviut socks (30% qiviut, 50% superfine merino, and 20% nylon). This is a 3 ply yarn at 400 yards per skein in a fingering or sock weight. Each skein is 3.5 oz. There is enough qiviut sock yarn to knit almost any size of socks. Of course qiviut sock yarn can be used for many other projects, too!
This yarn would be perfect for making self-striping socks or hand painted sock yarn if you want to experiment beyond the natural qiviut taupe colour.
